To campers

Rules of education and behavior at all programs of the camp «Access to your success»:

1. Campers have the following rights:
  • To be educated in accordance with the camp program.
  • To have their individual personality respected by the leaders.
  • To be able to freely express their opinion in an acceptable, non-violent manner.
  • To be able to apply of all their talents & skills in all aspects of the camp.

Please pay attention to the fact that Campers are allowed to apply their right without breaking the camp's regulations and without harming other campers. Indeed, we all need to be tolerant & polite with respect to each other.

2. Campers are obliged to do following:
  • To comply with the reasonable requirements of leaders & the administrative staff of the camp.
  • To follow the schedule each day and not to skip activities unless there is a good reason (sickness, etc.).
  • To keep their rooms in order and to take care of the property of the dormitories (those in violation of this rule will be forced to pay for any damages).
  • To call for physicians in case of both slight and more serious sickness & to accept the necessary medication or procedures advised by the doctors.
3. Campers are prohibited from doing the following:
  • Storing or using any kind of weapon, cigarettes or tobacco, alcoholic beverages, any kind of illegal drugs or similar substances.
  • Using unwholesome words or attempting physical or psychological violence against other campers or leaders, especially if it is intended to bully, intimidate, or scare.
  • Leaving their rooms from 11:30 p.m. to 8 a.m., except in special cases when the camp schedule has been changed.
  • Leaving the territory without asking for permission from the leaders.

Attention: If a camper breaks the rules mentioned above, he can be sent home without a refund. In the case that a student is forced to depart due to a sickness or injury that required medical care in a hospital (or similar institution), camp administrators will refund the cost of room and board for the remaining days.

On the first day of camp, administrators will place campers in rooms based on the space available and the educational groups. The goals is to achieve the most comfort arrangement for all of the campers. We try to find a ‛golden mean‛ between the the desires of campers and the results of interviews with native speakers. This helps to avoid misunderstandings and potential conflicts. We strive to conduct camp in such a way that everyone feels comfortable. In return we ask campers to trust our judgement, especially considering that our administrators and leaders have years of experience.
